Kitchenaid superba double oven. After self cleaning mode only top oven works. Control panel appears to be ok. I can set the temp for the lower unit, it just does not heat up. Would this still be a thermal fuse for the lower unit or a thermostat, or something different.

ANSWER Tom, There is a thermal fuse located on the back of the unit and if it is open it will cause lower oven to not work. There should be one for the upper and lower. Check for continuity of the thermal fuse and if there is no continuity then you would want to replace it. If it does show continuity then you would want to check voltage from the control board from L1 to Lower bake when set for bake in lower oven. If no voltage then the control is bad and will need to be replaced.
