Freezer (about 30+ years old), just started over-freezing ..temps dropped from 0 to -30..raising the thermostat seems to help for a short time, but now thermostat is is dialed just below "off" and below "1" and it seems to maintain zero for now (the past 12 hours)..the thermostat for many years was set at "3" and it would maintain zero and not go below. Any ideas, and is it worth the cost to replace?? Thank you Mike
ANSWER Hello Mike. Based on the information you provided, the thermostat 4389248 is bad and will need to be replaced on the unit.
