The bottom element burned out, and I replaced it. Now the bottom element won't heat up at all and the top element will only heat a little,(it will not turn red hot on broil). Could this be the oven thermostat causing this problem?

ANSWER Hello REM. Yes, if the thermostat is not sending the power to the element, you will need to replace the thermostat 74005019 in the unit. Hope this helps.
