If replacing therostat and/or heating element...do you do this by removing back of dryer? If so, is it best to put dryer face down on the floor or low table?
ANSWER Hello Dan. Yes, you will remove the back of the dryer to access the heater 3403591 and the thermostat 3404153. You can do this by pulling out the dryer and removing the back panel. You do not need to lay the dryer down. Make sure the power is disconnected from the unit. Hope this helps.
