I think my thermostat is going bad or is bad. Nothing freezes up anywhere, the compressor just stops working. This is especially the case when we put something mildly warm (leftover ) in a container in the fridge. When we do that the compressor does not kick on to cool down. We have to unplug for 30 minutes and the fridge resets. Like Clockwork, the compressor will come back on and cool things down. Lately though, I believe it's been getting warmer without the warm things being put in. Just open the fridge and it may be 58 or 60. It will eventually start back up. and cool down but I'm afraid this can't be safe. I have turned to the coldest setting and still this happens.
Advice, suggestions?
