I had a repairman come and fix our refrigerator its a maytag. He put in thermostat part number 12001937. Every thing I read says this thermostat is not compatible with my fridge. It should be part no 67004757. Do you know if this will be ok or will I be calling for another repair soon?

ANSWER Hello Moo. According tot he model number, 67004757 is the correct thermostat. It does not show 12001937 as a cross reference.
