Doesn't want to clean all the dishes. I opened the washer while running and the water doesn't appear to be as hot as it should be. Is there a heating element

Bob for Model Number MDB3700AWE

ANSWER Bob, Yes, your dishwasher should have a heating element visible in the bottom of the tub 99002360. A couple of things you want to try, make sure the water temperature in the bottom of the tub is at least 120 dgrs.F. on the initial fill of the cycle, and select the temp boost setting on the control buttons, this should insure a water temperature of 140 dgrs. in the wash cycle. An open or weak element is not a common issue in a dishwasher, and is not likely to be your issue. Thanks and Good Luck
