Runs for 3 seconds, then display F7 and stops. Inverter, Magnetron and Magnetron Themostat have been replaced. Still doing the same thing. Does anyone have any ideas that I may have missed?
ANSWER Hi Bob. F7 -Power to magnetron interrupted.1. Unplug microwave oven or disconnect power. 2. After 40 seconds, check to see whether this solves the problem. (Possible reason: Over temperature protection for the magnetron opened.) 3. Check resistance of the magnetron thermostat. It should be close to 0 ohms. 4. Check the magnetron. 5. Check wiring to the 1100W inverter and control system. 6. Check operation of all interlock switches. The primary switch is on the top and is part # W10211974. The monitor switch is part # W10211974. The secondary switch is the middle switch and is part # W10211972. 7. If switches operate correctly: Replace 1100W inverter. If problem persists, replace electronic control. White is part # 8184680. Black is part # 8184682. Biscuit is part # 8184681. 8. Plug in microwave oven or reconnect power. NOTE: If lights work, but cooling fan does not, 40W inverter might have failed. See “Checking Inverters.” Thank You.
