The oven pilot will not light. Pushing the oven valve does not allow any gas to flow to oven pilot.
ANSWER JC, You're on the right track. If your sure you have gas supplied to the range, and the top burners work. If you're pressing and holding the thermostat knob at least 30 seconds before attempting top light the oven pilot, then you will need to check the pilot burner gas tube and orifice for clogs and debris, then replace the thermostat.
