Our oven only works sometimes. Sometimes it will not turn on, sometimes it will. What would cause this? If it is the thermostat, could there be a bad connection? How can I test this? The thermostat is a VERY expensive part. Thanks!

ANSWER Hello Dennis. When the oven does not come on, and it is suppose to turn on, you can test and see if the thermostat W10159016 is sending power to the element in the oven. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html
