Hello, I bought this timer from you. Still I have the same problem. My admiral washer machine stopped at mid cycle and does not spin, drain or continue. MAIN knob will not ADVANCE. I emptied, and I checked the following: 1) Lid switch and works fine. It clicks,I took it out and check continuity and it is good. 2)The drain pump is good. I took it off and it is clean an rotates fine 3) Belt is fine.4) All pulleys rotate freely manually from underneath, after taking belt off. 5) ordered a new timer and belt and installed them. Same problem: Main Knob will not advance. I can hear a low sound that you always hear when it would be getting ready to advance to next step on cycle but it never advances. 6) Water supply is fine and fills up ok. 7) When I spin main pulley manually from underneath without a belt, the agitator moves fine. Machine will not spin or rinse or drain even if I try to move main knob manually to do these. I need advise what to do next. Thank you very much

ANSWER HI Jamie. Look at the back of the control panel and see if the advance to rinse switch yellow with red stripe wire and the lt. blue wires can be jumped together momentarily to see if this works now. These 2-wires connect to the timer connector directly.Speed switch part # 21001687. Remove the belt. Start the unit directly ihn spin and see if it will spin now... Does the motor reverse the rotation ? If so then you know that the timer is internally reversing voltage and the motor is good. Make sure the motor glides are not needing lightly greased so the motor can slide from one position to the other. If the motor just hums then more then likely its timer is ok and the motor needs replaced part # 21001950. Lift the unit up and support it. When you rotate the main pulley one way you will hear the agitator clicking as if in agitation. Rotate it another way and then the pulley rotates up against the clutch and releases a break lining allowing the inner basket to spin. If it does then your inner basket is free of balled up clothes in between the inner /outer basket and the clutch and brake are releasing. Let us know if any of this helped. Thank You.
