My Maytag LAT5914AAE will fill completely, timer does not advance at all, does not agitate, spin or rinse, even if I manually rotate the timer. No sounds after filling. Is this definitely an issue with the timer? Do I need to investigate the lid check switch or lid assembly before I buy the timer?
ANSWER Hello Phil. You will need to check the lid switch and see if it is bad on the unit. If so, it will cause the issues you are having with the unit.
