At the end of the washing cycle the water drains out and when its time to spin it sits there and make a humming noise, it does not start to spin unless I spin in manually, then sometimes it will pick up spinning automatically. Is it the timer? Please help.
ANSWER Kato, Yes, you should probably start at the timer, based on your description, one of the contacts copuld be faulty, and causing the motor to hum, and not spin. intermittently. Since the washer fills and agitates, it's not likely the motor. Thanks
