I have a Maytag Centennial washer, when you start on any of the cycles it starts to agitate while it is filling, I am guessing the timer has gone bad, help, thanks

Chasbone for Model Number MVWC6ESWW1

ANSWER Chasbone, You'll need to check the wiring at the load sensing switch W10292584 and the delay timer on the back of the mechanical timer W10104800. Both these components control the water fill process, and the timer advancement. If there are no loose connections or damaged wiring, replace the sensor switch.
