The timer gets stuck in a couple of positions, one right after the detergent door release, and the other after the light wash. I can help it past these spots and it goes on to work ok. It seems the timer works ok, but maybe there is excessive friction somewhere. Do you think replacing the timer will fix it?
This machine was in a house that I bought. It had a leak, and I took to door panel off and got the leak fixed, but maybe I did something wrong. I have no idea if the timer worked properly before.
The serial no. is FE2801136 (partially obliterated). Do you know when it was manufactured?
ANSWER Hello Sonny. Test and make sure the heater 3375558 and thermostat 661566 are good on the unit. If so, based on the information you provided, it sounds like the timer 3373626 is bad and will need to be replaced. Hope this helps.
