Have an issue where sometimes my washer works fine in rinse/spin cycle and sometimes it doesn't. When it's not working, there's an obvious popping and clicking sound coming from the timer. When it's doing this the washer doesn't do much of anything. It is an intermittent problem. When it works, no sounds come from the timer. To me the obvious would be the timer is bad. The sound that it makes when its not working is very obvious. Am I missing something else that could cause this? Thank you

ANSWER Tommy, Based on the information provided, it does sound like the timer 3949208 may be causing the unit to not operated and may have contacts that are sticking. You can access the timer and unplug unit. Disconnect the timer harness and look for discoloration of around the pins of the timer and check the harness for discoloration from arching.
