I have a Whirlpool Ultimate Care II washing machine. It fills up with water, starts to run until soon after where the 9 is on the regular load. Then it will just stop running. Could the timer be bad or is it something else?

ANSWER Hello Tina. You will need to check the lid switch and see if ti is bad on the unit. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html
