The drum will not tumble, but it heats. I checked the belt and it's not broken. The drum will turn if you turn it with your hand. Is this the timer or something else?
ANSWER Hello Allcia,
The belt 341241 is off. The belt on a dryer doesn't just come off by itself. Normally the idler pulley 691366 or the drum rollers 349241T,(two of these) have started resisting rotation to cause the belt failure. If the belt in on and not broken, and it's heating, the problem is most likely the motor run winding is open which will require the motor 279827 replacement to correct the issue.
