Dryer about 4years old. Drys fine only stops on auto sense dry high. All other settings timer just keeps turning until opening door to stop. Im thinking bad timer. What do you think?
ANSWER Hello James. Yes, if the timer continues to run, and does not stop on any cycles, and there is power to the timer motor, you will need to replace the timer 8299781. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html
