I SET MY DRYER ON TIMED DRY FOR 70 MINUTES --- RAN OK FOR 5 MINUTES DOWN TO 65 MINUTES -- THEN TIMER KNOB ADVANCED FROM 65 MIN TO 20 MIN IN MAYBE 10 SECONDS WHILE I WATCHED -- THEN ADVANCED TO OFF -- SOUNDS LIKE A MECHANICAL PROBLEM WITHIN TIMER -- DOES THAT SOUND RIGHT?? --
ANSWER Bobareno, It's more likely a sensor bar issue in the drum under the lint filter housing 3387223 or a control board issue W10116565. these two components communicate with each other and directs the timer to advance or stall based on the information. We'll send you some wiring and test information so you can verify the component operations.
