Dryer will not start. The breaker is good. The light in the drum goes on when the door is opened is it safe to assume the switch is working? It tested good with a meter. Could it be the timer? How would I test it? Or any suggestions.
Thank You, Steve
ANSWER Hello Steven. You will need to test and see if the thermal fuse 3392519 is bad in the unit. It should read closed for continuity. If it is bad, the dryer will not start. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. Hope this helps. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html
