How do you correctly put the cap back on without breaking the timer. I broke the timer when installing the cap (AP4027223) and had to buy another $75 timer!!! Help!

ANSWER Hello JB. You will need to line the shots in the timer knob up with the timer shaft. Then press the cap into the slot in the knob. If everything is lined up, it does not break the shaft. Make sure you install the knob 22003993 before you press in the cap. Hope this helps.
