When I turn the timer on in the spin cycle the motor hums and does not spin. During testing I verified 120V coming into unit but only getting 49V to capacitor and same coming out to the motor. Would this be a bad timer?
ANSWER Jack, Yes the issue should be in the timer W10175553 One or more of the timer contacts is damaged and not supplying the 120 VAC to the capacitor. 49 volts is not enough power to turn the motor, so it hums.
