Part w10185972e....dryer runs and blower works well but very little heat. Heat shield is stamped 240v...input wires to dryer read 240 but heat coil teminal connectors only read 120v. All fuse/temp limiter and sensors and coil shows continuity. Could the timer/cycle selector unit be faulty?

ANSWER Hello Steve,
You will want to go from either side of the heater and see which side you are loosing voltage. If you test each terminal to ground you will be able to determine this. There should be 120 vac to ground. If on the side of the thermostat then you would want to trace back to timer. If all checks ok then timer contact for heat circuit would be bad.
