This dryer will not heat up at all. Tested all thermostats and they were good. Dryer has 4 different cycles, and will only start only in one of the cycles when start button is pushed. This sounds like a timer to me. Would you have a different opinion? Thank You, Curt
ANSWER Hello Curt,
The timer W10185972 can be an issue as can the centrifugal switch 279827 in the motor. These and the door switch are the only things in the start circuit and the same set of contacts in the timer make in order to start the unit. I would open the unit and check the centrifugal switch for lint that might hamper its' ability to open and close. In light of the complaint you listed, either part can cause the issue.
