Dryer will not heat in timed dry but will heat in auto-dry.
Is the timer bad and how can I check it to see? Everything else checked ok
ANSWER Hello Chuck. Yes, it is the timer. You can test for power from the timer to the heater during a timed dry. If there is none, it is bad. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html
