I have a Maytag dryer that heats but will not stop running. The Vent is clear ( i cleaned it completely). I check the voltage between the orange wire and the white and I have 120v. It just does not move the timer. It runs on heat or air fluff and will stop if the door is opened or you move the timer to off. It even still buzzes when moved to to off position, I have read and tried all of the different options on various sites.
ANSWER Hello Steve. If there is power to the timer motor, and the motor does not turn the timer, you will need to replace the timer Y308254 in the unit.
