WPL 8523793 to replace the surface igniter. How is this done? What are the instructions to replace them? I need this info. ASAP! Thanks
ANSWER Hi. Remove the top grates and the top burner caps. Set them aside in order to be able to replace them. Remove all burners and do the same. Use a putty knife to reach in from the top front sides and release the inner clips that hold the top down. Prop the top up with a wooden handle being careful not to damage the insulation underneath. Unscrew the burner base from the gas feed tubing. Unscrew the igniter from the bottom of the burner base and replace then igniter part # 74009336. Thank You.
