To replace the top igniter, do I have to remove the burners, then the stovetop, or can I access the burner from the rear?

ANSWER Hello Bill. You can remove the burner caps. Then remove the two screws holding the burners in place. Lift the burners and unplug the wire going to the igniter Y0316773. Reinstall in reverse order. Hope this helps.
