I replaced the top burner receptacle with the kit I purchased, # 330031. I turned the circuit breaker on, now the red burner light stays on. How can I resolve this issue. Does this mean I have another electrical problem?
ANSWER Martha, The receptacle kit shouldn't be the issue, unless you have a pinched or shorted wire. If the wiring is OK, and proper, you'll need to check the infinite switch circuits. The numbers you supplied are neither a model number or serial number. Your model and serial plate could be located in several places on the range. Under one of the front surface burner drip bowl, on the oven door jam with the door opened, or on the front frame with the drawer or broiler door open.
