2 of the top burner ignitors stopped working. The other 2 spark all over the place. They do not make a clean spark down. is there a test I can do with a meter to see if it is the igniters or the igniter module?

Jason for Model Number 31203Saa

ANSWER Jason, First check and make sure the burner caps and igniters are not dirty or chipped, and the porcelain insulators are not cracked or damaged, and make sure the range is properly grounded(120 VAC, Polarized, grounded outlet) Testing the ignition system is a process of elimination, check the valve switches for a closed circuit, when in the ignition position and an open circuit in the off position. Check each of the wires from the switches to the module and from the module to the burners. If all checks OK, then replace the spark module 12001596. Thanks and Good Luck
