one of my 4 burners is not igniting. i believe its the ignitor because i have caught it on a rag while cleaning multipule times. How do i replace the ignitor? would i be better off by just replacing the burner cartridge and be done with it?

ANSWER Dan, It's not that hard a project. Once you remove the cartridge from the cook top, flip it over so you can remove the phillips heads screws from the lower outer casing You'll have access to everything inside the cartridge, includind the wiring and the igniter. It's probably worth the 10 or 15 minutes it would take to dismantle and check everything.
