I need to replace a valve in my oven. I understand this is the one I need for the right-front burner. My only question is, is there anything special needed (tools or parts) to make the non-threaded gas connection? (I assume here's a gas bar that the valve connects to on the top and then there's the threaded pressure fitting.)
Any additional docs or pointers would be helpful. Thanks!
ANSWER Brian, The part number for the Rt Frnt Burner valve is correct 9757218. Once you have discoonected the power and shut off the gas supply, removed all the grates, burner caps, and raised the cooktop, you'll see how the burner valve is secured and sealed to the manifold pipe by a screw and gasket 8273096. You shouldn't need any "special" tools to perform the repair, just the basic tools will get you through. We'll send you some basic Information, it may be helpful. Thanks
