I have an LA25CS washer that fills up with water and it just spins when instead of agitating. I put my foot against the transmission and it still did not agitate. When the water is out of it I can spin the agitator by hand without any problem. The belts are fine. I am not sure if I have a transmission or brake problem. Thank you

ANSWER Hello Ken,
Based on the information it sounds like you have a brake 6-2011900 issue. The brake is not engaging. This could be caused by a lip seal leak. Check to make sure that you do not have leak.
