The washer had been shaking so much during agitation that it actually walks; put it on the rubber 'feet' or stands you can get and it's much better. Had no other symptoms of issues. Today the water entered the tub as it should ... and then leaked right out the bottom while still in the 'filling stage'. Can you suggest what this might be, and what to do??

ANSWER A, Are you sure the washer "walks" in the wash/agitate mode, that doesn't happen very often> You can probably get a better idea of the leak issue and the walking issue by removing the front panel of the washer and allowing the washer to fill and wash,It sounds like you more than one issue.
