At the end of the spin cycle the entire machine will occasioanlly shake violently. I have done the usual, re-distributing the load, re-leveling the machine by adjusting the feet. These seem to work OK. I have checked to make sure the balancing springs are in place. They are. Anything else I should try?

You would want to look for dry or worn out damper pads or possibly a bad brake.
