The washer runs fine until the final rinse cycle then it it runs out of balance. Is that the out of balance sensor that is malfunctioning and needing replaced or should I be looking at something else that is malfunctioning? How do I test the sensor or other parts that may be the problem? Thank you for your support! Ann

ANSWER Hello Ann, The tub displacement sensor would not cause the unit to go out of balance. In the final spin you want to make sure that the unit is draining properly, make sure that the pressure switch hose is not clogged and check for uneven clothes. Check to make sure that the drain is not clogged. From the time the unit starts spin cycle the tub should be empty in approximately 90 seconds from all the water. If the unit is not draining fast enough this can cause an unbalanced load issue.
