The AP200138 screw is listed under item #7 in the tub section for the MAV7000AWW and is the replacement screws to hold the inner "spin" tub to the top of the bearing housing kit. The screws shown in the diagram for the bearing housing kit are for the "bottom" side of both bearings when replacing bearings or removing the transmission.
The picture diagram does not match the part number listed for AP2900138 screw. The received screws appear to be the correct thread pitch and possible length however they do not have the original shoulder just below the head to tightly fit into the hole diameter to keep the inner tub from possibly leaking water past the screws and rusting the top bearing. Also any play could possibly cause the inner tub to slightly rotate in the screw hole opening and elongate the holes after a period of time.
The conditon with the new screws appears to be uniform thoughout various websites and has no reflection for error by you folks. Your company has been an absolute pleasure to order from and the shipping time was remarkable.
ANSWER Hi Ken. We apologise @ the web site issue and are diligently working on this as we speak. The manufacturer supplies the bolts for the inner tub basket. We are not sure why they changed the bolt type but I bet it has something to do with the bottom line .... If you have to use stainless thin, stainless flat washers under the head then it is completely understandable. This may help 2-fold. First to help bottom out to hold the inner tub down. Then with them all tighten the same it should hold laterally as you are concerned @ the inner basket. Thank You.
