When my washer stops agitating and switches to drain the water, the sound is louder like a clunk, and then, when the water is draining out, the washer seems to make a deep rattling noise through the whole draining and spinning process. This next part is separate question but when there is grease underside, which part would that be coming from?
ANSWER Hello Pamela. Check and see if the noise and grease are coming from the transmission. If so, you will need to replace the transmission 3360629. This will cause the problems you are having. Hope this helps.
