What all would I have to take apart to replace inlet valve?

Eugene for Model Number wfw8300sw04

ANSWER Hello Eugene, Pull out the machine and unplug it. Turn the water supplies off, cold and hot, and remove the hoses. I always use a sharpie to mark the hot one, and I mark the faucet so I'll remember that it goes to it. If you accidentally cross the water hoses the machine will set up a fault code and you will have to troubleshoot to figure out what you did. (I say this because I remember doing this when I learned to mark them.) Remove the main top and remove the wires from the valve. The wires should only go back one way because of length. Now be very careful when removing the hose--The plastic nipple on the back of the dispenser will snap off easily. Once this hose is removed, remove the screw that holds the water valve in its' mounted position. Now the valve should easily be removed and the new valve put in its' place. Re-attach everything in the reverse order. Be sure to turn the water supplies back on and plug the unit back in before pushing it back into its' spot.
