My Ice maker makes ice fine but I am getting a small over flow after trays are refilled. This of course is building a ice cicle at end of tray which over night freezes all the way to the bin. I'm guessing that the fill valve is contaminated or warn. Does anyone agree?
ANSWER Hello Ed. Yes, it could be the fill valve causing the unit to overflow. You need to test and see if the power stops coming to the fill valve and water continues to run. If so, replace the water valve 67006531 on the unit. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html
