I have replaced the timer switch because it wasn't moving. The dryer now goes thru the cycles, but sometimes it takes a few cycles to get the clothes dry. I took the front panel off to see what was going on. I start the dryer. It ignites and then a flame. The flame stays on for about 30 seconds then goes off. When that happens, I hear grinding sound like the gas valve isn't working properly. I've replaced the coils and thermostat. So could it be the gas valve?

ANSWER Hello Michelle,
The gas valve 306176 sounds like it is malfunctioning as you suspect. Be sure if you change it yourself to check for leaks with lightly soaped water.
