I have a Maytag Dryer DG303. How long should the flame stay on after I start the dryer?
The flame will stay lit on the dryer until the cycling thermostat is satisfied and then the flame will shut off. Once the cycling thermostat cools the unit will cycle again. If the flame is shutting of quickly then you will want to make sure that your venting is clear from the blower wheel to the outside of home as this can cause longer drying times.
