My basement flooded just enough to cover my gas. The dryer still comes on and the drum rotates but it will not get hot. I think it may be the solinoids not opening the gas valve.
You will first want to check to make sure that the igniter is coming on. If the igniter is coming on then check you will want to check your flame sensor for continuity. If there is no continuity then you will need to replace the flame sensor. If there is continuity then the gas coils would be issue. If the igniter does not glow almost white hot then the igniter is faulty and would need to be replaced.
