Good morning, my oven will not turn on, heat up, nothing. When I turn on the bake function, timer comes on and counts down but oven will not do nothing. There are no clicking sounds as if the ignitor was trying to ignite the gas. I do not smell any gas when I turn the oven on, however, when I turn the broiler on, there are 2 clicks tryng to ignite the broiler but still nothing, no gas smell either. I was told by my brother this might be some sort of valve, could you please let me know? Thank you

ANSWER Hello Dawn. If there is no clicking in the bake mode, then you need to test and see if the control is sending power to the module. If not, replace the control. If so, replace the module. It would not be the valve preventing the igniter from sparking. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html
