The water in the ice maker does not stop and keeps running and flooding the freezer. How do I test to make sure it is the water valve?
ANSWER Hello Ashok,
With the unit on and the ice maker filling, unplug the refrigerator. If the water continues to fill, the water pressure is to low or the water inlet valve is defective. If the water stops coming in, the issue is electrical which points to the contacts in the ice maker.
