Whirlpool dishwasher fills properly runs through the first cycle fine drains ok. Next cycle begins does not pump enough water to make the unit run. I have to add a tea kettle of water to the dishwasher and then the dishwasher runs ok to the very end. What's wrong with my unit?
ANSWER Hello James,
This is most likely caused by a failing water inlet valve W10648041. Since the dishwasher fills on a time basis, if the valve doesn't open fully, it will not fill sufficiently.
