Even when the washing machine is off, I still see a very slow leak coming out of the inlet valve. The leak stops only when I shut off the hot water connected to the washer. Should I replace the inlet valve which has the part number AP4371093. It's for my whirlpool washer WTW52000VQ2. If it's the inlet valve issue, would you describe the steps to replace it.
ANSWER Hello Jerry. Yes, you need to order and replace the water valve W10144820 on the unit.
