My 2 year old oven has generated a burn spot on the white handle from the exaust during broil or high heat cooking. I am replacing the handle with a stainless steel unit. What can be done to correct the heat exaust which comes from an opening above the door approx 7" from the top left corner of the door. The exaust is 3 1/2" wide.

ANSWER Hello Jerry. According to Whirlpool, there is no adjustments that can be done to the vent 4452158 on the unit. Sorry.
