I just received this spray arm to replace the previous one because one of the tabs was broken. When I tried to snap it directly in place, one of the new tabs broke. Is there someway to avoid breaking a tab during installation? I removed the adapter on the tabs because it was still attached to the top of my dishwasher.
ANSWER Hi Lara. As long as you use a flashlight to examine the top of the wash manifold and release any stuck, left over tabs from the wash arm part # 6-917644 (like you mentioned), you should be clear to snap the new wash arm into place. In the pictorial view It shows the long half of the connector going to the left side of the manifold. Thank you.
